Tips for Working Out in the Heat

Beat the summertime heat during our outdoor Stroller Fitness and Body Boost classes with these helpful tips to keep you and your little ones cool.

  1. Spritz yourself and your kiddo with a spray bottle filled with water or a handheld misting fan.
  2. Buy a pack of thin washcloths, soak them in cold water and place them in a sealable plastic bag in the freezer.
  3. We do our best to keep little ones out of the sun and in the shade during our Stroller Fitness classes. But on a hot day, strollers and car seats can get very warm even in the shade. A compact portable stroller fan can provide cool airflow to your kiddo during class on those hot summer days.
  4. Wear light-colored & sweat-wicking clothing while attending FIT4MOM Greater Northwest Chicago Suburbs classes. Also use a sweat-resistant sunscreen for on yourself and your kiddos. Don't forget to grab your sunglasses and/or a hat to protect your eyes from the sun.
